***ATTENTION PARENTS & SKATERS***

Please note that skaters will remain in their group 

if they need to work on more than one element

on their basic skills level.  

It is important that skaters be placed at the appropriate level as each new skill builds 

from previously learned skills.  

Testing allows instructors the opportunity to benchmark where skaters are at developmentally and

assign them to the group most beneficial to

their overall success as a skater.

Please keep mind that each child will learn and achieve at a different rates, especially when other

variables are considered for example:

private lessons, skating in the "off season".  

USFS has provided the standard which we need to test our skaters and consistently uphold the

credibility of the Basic Skills program.
